Strathcona County Transit Alexander Dennis Evniro 500

Welcome to the Strathcona County Transit Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 gallery. Beginning in September 2010, Strathcona County Transit leased an Enviro 500 from Alexander Dennis for a trial period of one year. This was the same bus that operated as Community Transit #27900 from 2007-2009.
The bus is used in service on various commuter routes between Edmonton and Sherwood Park. The bus features suburban style layout, equiping it with features like reclining high back seats and reading lights. The bus is powered by a Cummins ISM engine with a ZF 6HP602C transmission.

On August 24, 2010 this bus was used in a demonstration in the town of Cochrane, AB. This was a stopover on the delivery to Sherwood Park, AB. The below photos were taken during this demonstration.
