Welcome to the Red Deer Transit New Flyer D40LFR photo gallery. Red Deer Transit currently operates 35 New Flyer D40LFR buses. The first order arrived in the summer of 2007 (#726-732), the second order arrived in the summer of 2008 (#780-785), the third order arrived in the spring of 2009 (#818-824), the fourth order in the summer of 2010 (#863-868) and the fifth order in the Fall of 2010 (#889-897). These buses are equipped with a wheelchair ramp, two wheelchair positions and can kneel. The buses have Luminator Horizon LED destination signs. The powertrain is a Cummins ISL engine with an Allison B400R6 transmission.
