Southland Transportation Photos

Welcome to the Southland Transportation Photo Gallery. Southland Transportation operates a small handful of coaches in the Calgary and surrounding area. They run daily weekday commuter services into Calgary from Cochrane and Okotoks just outside of Calgary. They operate older MCI coaches such as some MC9's and atleast one MC8 to primarly backup a handful of MCI 96A3 coaches that are second hand from Acadamy Bus Lines of New York City. Southland Transportation also has a fleet of transit style shuttle buses used for various contracted shuttle work within the city of Calgary. Southland Transportation has a large fleet of school buses serving schools in Calgary and area.

GM RTS-03 TW-7603 1166 1978 1166 is Ex-Pioneer Valley Transportation Authority 1011. The bus was sold to Pacific Western Transportation and ran in Ontario until 2005, until being transfered to PWT's Southland Calgary division to serve on the Calgary Auto Mall shuttle. The bus has a Detroit Diesel Series 50 retrofitted with it's original Allison V730 transmission. The bus originally had rear doors and a slantback rear. 11/11/2005
