Citizens Area Transit Alexander-Dennis Enviro 500

Welcome to the Citizens Area Transit (CAT) photo gallery for the Alexander Dennis Enviro 500. In 2005, 50 of these double decker buses entered service being dubbed a "The Deuce". The buses run mainly on the Strip connector route called the The Deuce; however, the occasional one can be found on several other routes where articulated buses regularly run. These buses are powered by Cummins ISM engines, featuring a custom ventilated tailgate (engine cover). These buses also feature an extra large air conditioner suitable for the summer desert climate. The first 30 (#200-229) have 4 speed automatic Voith D864 transmissions. The remaining 20 (#230-249) have a 6 speed automatic ZF 6HP602 transmission. Most of these buses wear full body vinyl wrap advertisements on all sides of the bus except the front. Please do not reuse any of these photos without prior permission from photo owner. Thank you.
